Irene Malizia, who works as a violinist, composer and pedagogue in Vienna, studied violin, instrumental pedagogy and composition and completed her studies with master's degrees in Italy and Austria. Specializing in creative methods in instrumental pedagogy, she is currently working on her dissertation on "Composing Music as a Learning Tool in Instrumental Music Education" as a PhD student at the University of Music and Performing Arts Graz. She teach violin at the music school "Musikschule Thayaland" as well as violin, composition, music theory and improvisation at Variando musica. She is lecturer for ear training in the music theater department at the Private University of Music and Performing Arts in Vienna.
